What we store
- Your Apple ID user identifier, from Sign in with Apple. Not your email address.
- The name you give.
- A sign-in token for each phone you sign in on. We keep only a hash of it. Signing out deletes it.
- Your cars: name, make, model, year, plate, VIN, units, currency, odometer, and who the car is shared with.
- Log entries: date, odometer, kind, title, shop, items, prices, fuel details, next due, notes.
- Photos you save with an entry or a car.
- Invite codes you create. They work for 14 days.
- How many reads you used today, to keep the limit of 200 a day.
Reading photos
When you tap Read, the photos and your note go to the reader model, Cloudflare Workers AI or Anthropic (Claude), which returns the fields it found. Revjot does not keep photos sent for reading. Only photos you save with an entry are stored.
If you choose Your ChatGPT plan in Settings, your photos and note go from your phone to OpenAI under your own ChatGPT account, and count toward its usage. Revjot's server does not get the photos. It gets your note and the car's details to prepare the reading instructions, then only the text result, to tidy it into entries. OpenAI's terms and your ChatGPT settings apply to what you send there.
Your ChatGPT sign-in stays on your phone, in its Keychain. Revjot's server never sees it. Sign out of ChatGPT in Settings, or sign out of Revjot, and it is removed from that phone. If ChatGPT can't read a photo, Revjot reads it instead and says so.
Shared cars
Everyone who joins a car sees that car's entries, photos and members' names. Anyone with an invite link can join until it expires.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Cloudflare (D1 database and R2 storage). Cloudflare keeps request logs for a short time for debugging. We do not log photos or receipt text. No ads, no tracking, nothing sold.
Deleting
Settings, Delete account removes your account, your sign-ins, and your place in every car. A car only you are in is deleted with its entries and photos. A car shared with others stays with them, including entries you added, shown as by a former member. The oldest remaining member becomes its owner.
Deleting an entry removes its details and photos. Deleting a car (owner only) removes its entries and photos for everyone in it. Leaving a car removes your access; the car stays with the others.
